This album is only one part of the project Music From Movement. The other part is a combined dance performance and concert with the WE GO ensemble of four dancers and three musicians all playing instruments and moving throughout the whole show. The project is about creating music and movement material simultaneously.

The tunes for this album are composed inspired by physical actions such as for instance: shaking, falling or sliding and some of these actions ended up as titles for the tunes. I’ve done my best to arrange the music for the album with no regard as to how or if we will be able to perform it live. It is important to me that there are no unnecessary restrictions on the music and so I don’t see why the recorded performances should resemble the live versions since it will anyway be different products. In fact I want the two to be as different as possible in order to broaden the perspective and that is also why we asked Knalpot and Doktor Schnitt to participate on the album. The extraordinary musicians of the two bands have not just performed my compositions. They have taken them and made them completely their own which was exactly our intention. The tune HOP is performed by Doktor Schnitt and will also be released on their own album KATERUSHKI. The tune SHAKING FALLING is mostly my arrangement while VEKSL is mainly arranged and produced by Knalpot.
